Patrick F. Terry

Patrick F. Terry is a serial entrepreneur, founding numerous philanthropic, research, and commercial organizations based on the life sciences, applied technology, and social-network theory. In 2000, he and a group of leaders in the fields of bioinformatics, genomics, and biotechnology founded Genomic Health, Inc., [NASDAQ: GHDX] a publicly traded personalized medicine company based in California. He has gone on to be involved in founding a number of other pioneering health care and biomedical companies in Europe and North America.
He is actively involved with the next generation of precision medicine companies across the human disease and technology spectrum. He advises dozens of public and private companies involved in the science and business enterprise of translational medicine and personalized medicine around the world.
He has experience doing hands-on bench science, coordinating human genetics studies, conducting translational research activities, delivering biomedical innovations to patients in the clinic, as well as global delivery of commercial products and services. He has received many honors and awards in the U.S. and internationally. He has dedicated his career to advancing a patient-centered perspective in research and product development.
Patrick also founded the following organizations: Personalized Medicine Coalition, 21st Century Medicine Coalition, PXE International, Genetic Alliance BioBank, International Genetic Alliance, European Personalized Medicine Diagnostic Association, and Grand Therapeutics. |

Marc de Garidel

Marc de Garidel is Chairman & CEO of Ipsen. Between 2006 & 2010, he has gradually managed the largest region of Amgen international including Southern Europe, MEA, & Latin America territories as Vice President South Region & VP Southwestern Europe. Hired in 1995 to build the financial strategy of the group in Europe, he became Amgen Inc VP Finance and Corporate Controller between 1998 and June 2000 and VP and General Manager Amgen France until December 2005. Before joining Amgen Marc de Garidel had 10 years of different responsibilities at Eli Lilly France, US and Germany.
Marc de Garidel is president of EBE (European biotechnology Enterprises) since June 2010. He was its VP & treasurer between 2006 & 2010. Marc de Garidel has also founded & chaired the Comité Biotechnologie du LEEM, the French Pharma industry association between 2004 & 2005. |
Felix Frueh

Felix Frueh is President of the Medco Research Institute® where he leads Medco’s peer-reviewed research initiatives and collaborations in the areas of personalized medicine, comparative effectiveness and chronic conditions, examining how new developments in science can improve the safety and efficacy of prescription drug care. Frueh joined Medco in 2008 as vice president of Medco’s personalized medicine research and development organization.
Prior to joining Medco, Frueh was Associate Director for Genomics at the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA), where he built and led the genomics review team in the Center for Drug Evaluation and Research (CDER), and chaired the first FDA-wide, interdisciplinary pharmacogenomics review group (IPRG). Prior to the FDA, he was Managing Partner at Stepoutside Consulting, LLC, and held senior positions at Transgenomic and Protogene Laboratories.
Frueh has published numerous peer-reviewed articles and is a frequent invited speaker at national and international conferences. He has been a member of various working groups on genetics and genomics at the FDA and at the Department of Health and Human Services (DHHS), and is a Member of the Board of the Personalized Medicine Coalition.
Felix Frueh is an Adjunct Faculty member at the Institute for Pharmacogenomics and Individualized Therapy (IPIT) at the University of North Carolina (UNC) and has held faculty appointments in the Departments of Pharmacology and Medicine at Georgetown University in Washington DC. He was a postdoctoral fellow at Stanford University and the University of Basel, Switzerland, where he also received his Ph.D. in biochemistry.

Prior to joining Auriga Partners, Philippe was an equity analyst with HSBC-CCF Securities, covering biotech and biopharma public stocks. Philippe holds a MS in Molecular Biology from the University of Paris VII and a MS in finance from ESSEC (Paris). |

Els Hubloux Senior Investment Manager Quest for Growth Els Hubloux has 8 years of venture capital experience, two year of equity research experience and four years of R&D experience in pharmaceutical companies. Previous directorships and observerships have included 4AZA, Algonomics, PharmaNeuroBoost and Pronota. She joined Quest Management as senior investment manager in July 2007, prior to which she was investment manager at KBC Private Equity from 2002 to 2007. From 2000 to 2002 she worked as a financial analyst for KBC Securities covering biotech stocks such as Actelion, Innogenetics and Tanox. Prior to joining the KBC group she worked for Abbott (1996-1998) and Merck (1998 – 2000). She holds a chemical engineering degree and MBA from the University of Brussels. |
