Quality management system control is a major, strategic project which will enable us to demonstrate our ability to grant products and services meeting the requirements of our customers and of regulations.
TcLand Expression is in the process of establishing a quality system with the objective of providing the company with the essential resources to conduct its operations. The company already obtained ISO 17025:2005 accreditation for its gene expression assays and is in compliance with the ISO 13485:2003 for its in vitro medical diagnostics. The system and Quality policy enables the following goals to be achieved:
- To meet customers’ expectations in terms of quality, time and know-how;
- To optimize the development of new applications and new products in order to meet customer and notably patient requirements;
- To observe and maintain ISO 17025:2005 accreditation
- To reinforce cohesion and communication amongst staff members
- To obtain the necessary accreditations, certifications and authorizations for our laboratory and our products
Management pays special attention to the results of the various audits carried out.
Ms Hasnae Niang-Picot as Quality Manager, undertakes to ensure the following:
- To lead and coordinate action for implementing this QA policy in liaison with all company employees
- To ensure correct application and that any corrective action is taken
- To establish and propose to Management any action for improving the Quality policy

What is Laboratory ISO 17025 Accreditation?
ISO 17025 Accreditation is a process that is performed in many countries as a means to determine the technical competence of a laboratory. Accreditation is awarded to a laboratory only after is has been thoroughly assessed for its competence based on standard procedure guidelines. The assessment is normally carried out by third party assessors who will evaluate all the factors in the laboratory that will influence the final production of the test result. These factors include, amongst others, the technical competence of the staff, the validity of the methods used in testing and equipment maintenance and calibration.
